July 31-August 3: BOSTON (4 days)
**9am-3pm each day
Meet at Newton’s Woodland T-Stop for drop off and pick up
Ages 12 and Up
With Boston as their canvas, students embark on a series of captivating photo excursions. From the picturesque cobblestone streets of Beacon Hill to the bustling energy of Chinatown and the North End, and a ferry to the Harbor Islands each location offers a wealth of diverse subjects and backdrops for their creative exploration.
Accompanied by their instructor, the teenagers venture out to capture the essence of Boston's rich history, architecture, vibrant street scenes, and the spirit of its people. They learn to frame their shots, experiment with different angles and perspectives, and harness the power of natural light to create visually striking images that tell compelling stories. The 4 days are designed to inspire, educate, and empower budding photographers to capture captivating images and develop their unique artistic voice.
Bring your fully charged Smartphone or DSLR camera. If you don’t have a camera we have one you can borrow. Make sure to bring a tripod if you have one.
*Fee covers all travel expenses, tickets and snacks. Students are to bring their own lunch or money for lunch
**One of the days we will leave earlier than 9am to catch the ferry to the Harbor Islands and return later than 3. We will know which day as time gets closer and we can watch the weather. Hopefully Wednesday August 2nd. Please let me know if drop off and pick up are a problem.
